10th Annual Lancaster Printers Fair

 

The .918 Club would like to invite you to be a participant in the 10th Annual Lancaster Printers Fair to be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. As a vendor, the fair is a fantastic opportunity to market and sell your products to customers who are specifically seeking unique hand printed merchandise, supplies and equipment. If you are unable to be a vendor, being a sponsor is an opportunity to show your support of the printmakers movement.

The Lancaster Printers Fair showcases the art of printmaking in historical and contemporary forms. Vendor items include the book arts, letterpress printing presses, equipment, supplies & accessories, wood & metal type, ink, presses and paper, printmaking, handmade announcements, invitations, posters, limited edition books and more.

The Fair will be held on the grounds surrounding The Center for Letterpress and Book Arts which is located on the Thaddeus Steven College of Technology Orange Street campus. The Center is located only 2 miles from the downtown location of the Heritage Press Museum. We are offering vendors the opportunity to set up Friday at no additional charge. Since it gets dark earlier in September, each canopy will be fitted with string lights provided by the Fair Committee. campus security will be on watch overnight.

The Center building is surrounded by large trees so there will be shade for Saturday. Since we will be located at the Center, we will be able to have multiple demonstrations of our Ludlow and Linotype as well as having presses set up for people to print a souvenir.

You will still be able to pull your vehicle up to your assigned spot and park in a parking lot convenient to the building.

I hope you will consider being a vendor on Saturday, September 16th and submit your application as soon as possible so we can promote your participation through our advertising campaign.

Vendor registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Vendor space for $55 each 10' x 10' space (After July 1st $65.00)
10’ x 10’ canopy for $25 for each one needed.

A vendor space is 10’ x 10’ and fall participating vendors must have and use a 10x10 canopy (canopy leg weights will be available at no charge). A limited number of 10x10 canopies and tables with chairs are available for rent on a first come basis. As part of the vendor fee, you will receive mention in the fair program and listed on the website. You can increase your program ad space by adding a sponsorship to your vendor fee.
