Vendor Registration Information
8th Annual Lancaster Printers Fair

The .918 Club would like to invite you to be a participant in the 8th Annual Lancaster Printers Fair to be held Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. As a vendor, the fair is a fantastic opportunity to market and sell your products to customers who are specifically seeking unique hand printed merchandise, supplies and equipment.
The Lancaster Printers Fair showcases the art of printmaking in historical and contemporary forms. Vendor items include the book arts, letterpress printing presses, equipment, supplies & accessories, wood & metal type, ink, paper, handmade announcements, invitations, posters, limited edition books
and more.

Unfortunately we will not be holding the Lancaster Printers Fair on the 300 block of North Queen Street. The City of Lancaster has imposed new restrictions, requirements and fees that make it impossible for us to run the Fair at a reasonable cost to the vendors. We would need 50 vendors each paying $70 to cover the cost to have the Fair just break even. We tried to get a local printing company to be the Fair sponsor and cover the cost of security, but were unable to do so. The main cost for the fair is the police security which would be around $2500 for the day.

With the purpose of the Fair to offer vendors a fair price to participate and to raise funds to support the Heritage Press Museum and the Center for Letterpress and Book Arts, we are moving the Fair to the campus of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. The Center for Letterpress and Book Arts is located on the Steven’s campus which is only 2 miles from the Heritage Press Museum. The Fair will be held on the grounds surrounding the Center building. Since we will not have to block off any streets, we are offering vendors the opportunity to set up Friday night for the Wayzgoose at no additional charge. Since it gets dark earlier in September, each canopy will be fitted with string lights provided by the Fair.
