The American Printing History Association (APHA) is a membership organization that encourages the study of the history of printing and related arts and crafts, including calligraphy, typefounding, typography, papermaking, bookbinding, illustration, and publishing. APHA’s Chesapeake Chapter is an active group of collectors, letterpress printers, & scholars sponsoring monthly lectures, field trips and other opportunities  to connect on an informal basis. Generally made up of members from within 90 miles of Washington, DC.

P22 Type Foundry began in 1994 a digital type foundry in Buffalo, New York. Over the past 25 years, P22 has evolved to embrace the full history of letterforms by establishing a research library and letterpress studio in Rochester NY. This new studio came to be after founder Richard Kegler spend many years establishing and managing community print shops and Book Arts Studios in Buffalo and Aurora NY. P22 with have letterpress prints, printing supplies & tools, as well as type specimens and much more! 

The Conestoga Press is part of the Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley and housed in the Carriage House of the Theodore Sprecher Museum.
